An interactive educational seminar focused on preparing for, and responding to, critical cyber events and their associated legal and privacy issues.   The cyber threats facing organizations are evolving daily and growing in number and severity. By mid-2023 there were over 140 million ransomware attacks. These threats call for more than just technological solutions. They require the full engagement of the traditional risk management role in collaboration with internal information security resources.

At the event, we will discuss the following:

• Various cyber threats and their characteristics to better prepare for them.
• Trends in cyber threats and learn from recent breaches to improve cybersecurity strategies.
• Financial and reputational impact of cybersecurity breaches on organizations.
• Legal implications and regulations associated with cybersecurity incidents.
• Value of Incident Response (IR) Planning and the benefits of conducting tabletop exercises to enhance preparedness.
