The global nature of business in today’s world creates additional risk for every organization and unexpected events are now everyday organizational realities.
Tsunamis, political turmoil, terrorism, workplace accidents and health concerns such as pandemic flu and contamination are just some of the threats that could affect your organization and employees. Whatever the source of the incident, Risk Management is more vital than ever, not only mitigating the financial risk to the organization but also in protecting the welfare and safety of affected employees. This session will highlight how Risk Management professionals play a key role in helping their organizations manage risk before, during and after a crisis and will address topics such as:
Defining Duty of Care: What is Duty of Care and what is a Risk Managers role in helping their company fulfill the obligations? What are the best practices for creating a comprehensive duty of care program?
Human Capital Protection: What should be in place to ensure you are able to respond quickly and effectively when your employees are in a crisis situation? How do you ensure it aligns with your insurance policies?
Financial Protection: What insurance policies will ensure the company is protected financially in the case of a medical or security situation?
A proactive approach: How can companies be proactive in mitigating the risks of their international travelers and assignees?
