Joint Meeting with ASSE (American Society of Safety Engineers)
Tuesday, September 12, 2017
Join us for a tour of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago’s new research hospital, the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. The AbilityLab is pioneering a new category of medicine by integrating scientists and research directly into clinical care to advance patient outcomes at a faster pace. At our meeting you will learn how this innovation is changing the course of catastrophic injuries (including those related to workers’ compensation), such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, burns, multiple traumas, and pain management. There will be a cocktail and networking event after the tour. For those of you who do not know, The AbilityLab is named in honor of Pat Ryan’s wife, Shirley. Pat is the founder and retired chairman and CEO of Aon Corporation.
