Shuffleboard, drinks, and Chicago's next generation of risk professionals

An RRP Chicago member event at Royal Palms Shuffleboard — and the kickoff of 2026/2027 membership.

Last year's outing was one of the best turnouts RRP has had, so we're back — this time in Wicker Park, with shuffleboard courts, food, drinks, and a room full of people at the same stage of their careers as you.

No panel. No presentation. Just a couple of hours to meet people you'll be working alongside for the next twenty years, in a setting where nobody has to make small talk about the weather.

You don't need to be. Come as a guest for $30, or make it official: a full year of RRP Chicago membership plus your ticket for $85. Membership gets you member pricing on every RRP event this year, access to select RIMS Chicago Chapter events, and first access to the mentorship program launching this fall.

The Chicago RIMS Annual Golf Outing returns to the stunning Arrowhead Golf Club for a day on the course with purpose. Kick off Chicago Risk Week with networking, golf, and support for the next generation of risk management professionals.

9:00 AM - Registration with morning beverages (no breakfast provided)
9:45 AM - Call to Carts
10:00 AM - Shotgun Start
12:00 PM – Lunch at the Halfway House as you make the turn
2:00 PM - Golf Clinic (included with Cocktail Reception ticket)
Following Golf - Cocktail Reception & Hors d'oeuvres

Please note: the driving range is unavailable this year due to on-site construction at Arrowhead. Putting green only for warm-up.

Part of Chicago Risk Week (September 21-24, 2026) - The perfect start to a week of connection. Many attendees stay in town for the 11th Annual Chicagoland Risk Forum on September 24th.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

Individual Golfer: $250 per person
Foursome: $900 per foursome
Golf Clinic & Cocktail Reception Only: $50 per person

What's Included in Your Golf Package:

✔ Lunch at the Halfway House (stop in as you make the turn)
✔ Beverage cart service on course
✔ Golf clinic (2:00 PM)
✔ Cocktail reception and hors d'oeuvres

IMPORTANT: The cocktail reception is already included in all golf registrations. Do not purchase a separate cocktail reception ticket if you're registered as a golfer or part of a foursome.

Non-Golfer Option: $50 per person
Golf Clinic & Cocktail Reception Only - For guests who are not playing golf but want to join for the clinic and reception

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither Chicago RIMS nor registered attendees will be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations related to this event that are due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental actions or omissions, changes in law or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy.

Should this event be cancelled for any of these reasons, registered attendees will be entitled to apply their registration fees to the next Chicago RIMS Annual Golf Outing.

Who qualifies: Professionals who manage risk, insurance, safety, claims, or related functions FOR their employer. This includes:

If you manage risk for your company, your registration is free.

$325 PER PERSON - All Others

Who pays: Anyone who provides services, products, or solutions TO risk managers. This includes:

Brokers and agents (including small independent agencies)
Insurance company representatives (underwriters, claims staff, legal)
Law firms and attorneys
Consultants and advisory firms
RMIS and technology providers
Risk solution vendors
TPAs and claims service providers

All registration fees are non-refundable upon payment. No exceptions.

Cancellations for Complimentary (Risk Manager) Registrations:
If you need to cancel your complimentary registration, please notify us no later than Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM (three weeks before the event). This helps Chicago RIMS manage costs and keep registration complimentary for risk management professionals.
